On Saturday 11 July, Soi 38 and Chaffey Bros. Wine Co. present a multi-course journey through Grenache, exploring the connection between Thai flavour and wine through smoke, spice, texture and fruit.

Beginning with vibrant rosé and progressing through expressive old vine Barossa reds, each wine has been paired with a dish designed to challenge expectations and showcase just how well Grenache can work alongside Thai food.

A long lunch built around one grape, four wines and a completely different way of thinking about food and wine pairing.

What happens when Soi 38 goes Vietnamese for a night?

For one night only, on Thursday 30th July, Chef John Cuisson takes over the Soi 38 kitchen with a menu inspired by the vibrant flavours of Vietnam.

Fresh herbs. Fish sauce. Lime. Smoke.

Known for his work as Head Chef at Si Sea, recently awarded SA’s Seafood Restaurant of the Year, John brings a menu built around bold flavours, exceptional local produce and grounded in Vietnamese tradition.

Two seatings: 5pm and 7:30pm.
